Gawthrop Greenwood, PC Brightens the Holidays for Local Families in Need

Gawthrop Greenwood, PC is fulfilling the holiday wishes of local families in need.

The law firm with offices in West Chester and Wilmington donated almost $1,000 in cash and gifts to four families who requested assistance through the Chester County Department of Children, Youth & Families (CYF). A representative from CYF accepted the donation on Thursday, December 15, 2016.

It’s the fifth year that employees of Gawthrop Greenwood, PC have joined together to collect funding for the program and volunteer their time to shop for gifts.

“Through our Family Law practice, we coordinate many services for local families through the Chester County Department of Children, Youth & Families,” said Walter Eells, chair of Gawthrop Greenwood’s Management Committee and chair of the firm’s Family Law practice. “It is both an honor and pleasure to be able to assist those families throughout the year, but especially during the holidays.”

Since the firm’s donations began in 2012, Gawthrop Greenwood has given an estimated $4,000 worth of gifts and monetary donations.
