Gawthrop Greenwood’s Greater Wilmington Office Donates to Brandywine Valley SPCA

Brandywine Valley SPCA logoGawthrop Greenwood’s office in Greater Wilmington is once again donating much-needed supplies to the Brandywine Valley SPCA. The firm contributed toys, food, treats and additional supplies to care for the animals being sheltered by the Brandywine Valley SPCA throughout the holidays and winter months.

It’s the third consecutive year that the firm has made a donation under the direction of Mary Ann Plankinton, a partner at Gawthrop Greenwood who is chair of the firm’s Greater Wilmington office and practices in family law, estate planning and estate administration.

“All of us are animal lovers and, rather than exchange gifts with each other, this is what we like to do as part of our holiday giving,” said Lenore C. Keeney, a paralegal at Gawthrop Greenwood.

In Delaware,  Brandywine Valley SPCA has shelters in Dover, Georgetown and New Castle. In Pennsylvania, shelters are in West Chester and Plymouth Meeting. Founded in 1929, it is Pennsylvania’s first no kill, open  admission shelter.
