Gawthrop Greenwood was pleased to sponsor a reception for James Carville and Mary Matalin, after their appearance at West Chester University’s Speaker Series March 11. The Speaker Series brings nationally known scientists, political leaders and writers to campus, including Maya Angelou, Elie Wiesel and Frank McCourt.

Carville is pictured here with Gawthrop Greenwood partner Kevin Holleran as well as Linda Adams, Dean of Health Sciences at West Chester University.

“The Ragin’ Cajun” Carville is a well-known political consultant and media commentator, and Matalin is one of the most celebrated and popular conservative voices in America. The couple spoke about their second joint memoir, “Love and War: Twenty Years, Three Presidents, Two Daughters and One Louisiana Home,” and how America has changed in the last two decades.
