West Chester’s premier fundraising event on a downtown rooftop is returning to the Borough this fall. The 19th Annual Up on the Roof – Happy Hour Edition supporting the beautification of downtown West Chester, will be held September 25, 2021, 530pm-8pm on the rooftop of Chestnut Street Garage.
It’s all made possible by ongoing sponsorships including this year’s lead sponsor, Gawthrop Greenwood – Attorneys at Law.
“Our law firm has been located in the heart of West Chester for more than 100 years, and it’s important now more than ever to support the borough, its businesses and the outstanding work of the West Chester Downtown Foundation,” says Patrick McKenna, the managing partner of Gawthrop Greenwood – Attorneys at Law.
“We’re excited to announce that the Up On the Roof event will still take place in 2021!” says Tracy Sammarone, chair of Up on the Roof – Happy Hour Edition. “Come and experience a really great party while supporting West Chester Downtown. Bring your friends and be sure to buy your tickets early. This has typically been a sell-out event!”
During a beautiful evening under the setting sun at the area’s most unique venue, guests will enjoy endless hors d’oeuvres by Limoncello, a dessert buffet by some of West Chester’s favorite bakeries, plus a complimentary bar featuring beer, wine and the always popular Rooftop Martini.
Pinnacle sponsors include A. Roy Smith, AccessLex Institute, Benchmark Federal Credit Union, Bush Infiniti of West Chester, Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, MacElree Harvey, Lamb McErlane and Umbreit Wileczek & Associates, PC.
Up on the Roof: Happy Hour Edition is a joint fundraising effort between the West Chester Downtown Foundation and the West Chester BID, promoting the beautification of downtown West Chester. The West Chester Business Improvement District (BID) is an economic development resource agency, providing downtown management and revitalization services for West Chester.
Event proceeds support the annual cleaning, flower beautification and marketing of Downtown West Chester, with more than $301,000 raised since 2002. The West Chester Downtown Foundation also continues to support other outstanding projects, including seasonal holiday carolers and the Historic Preservation Awards.
Tickets are $75 and are available at https://www.wcdf.org/. All sponsorships include tickets.
