ASSOCIATE

Rachel M. Sorokin

Rachel M. Sorokin is an associate attorney whose practice focuses primarily on community association law. She represents homeowners’ and condominium associations in matters involving governance, compliance and formation, as well as related zoning and land use issues. Rachel works closely with boards and community leaders to provide practical, client-focused guidance that helps associations operate effectively while minimizing the risk of disputes and litigation.

Rachel brings an analytical and relationship-driven approach to her work. She is known for her ability to connect easily with clients and colleagues, fostering the trust and open communication necessary to understand each client’s goals and deliver tailored legal solutions. By building strong long-term relationships with association boards and community stakeholders, she strives to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

Prior to focusing on community association matters, Rachel gained valuable experience in municipal tort defense litigation. In that role, she supported municipalities across Pennsylvania in personal injury and premises liability matters, including slip-and-fall claims. This background gives her a forward-thinking perspective on risk management, allowing her to help clients proactively address governance and compliance issues before they escalate into litigation.

Rachel earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School, where she served as a Staff Editor for the Widener Law Review and was a member of the Transactional Law Honors Society and the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from James Madison University. Her academic focus sharpened her ability to evaluate complex issues from multiple perspectives and apply careful reasoning to real-world legal challenges.

During law school and undergraduate studies, Rachel was actively involved in leadership and service initiatives, including programs that supported community members with intellectual and physical disabilities and volunteer work assisting with high school mock trial programs.

Rachel is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of both the Chester County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She lives in West Chester and enjoys being actively engaged in the local community.
