Attorney Stacey Fuller Named President of West Chester Area Education Foundation
Gawthrop Greenwood attorney and partner Stacey L. Fuller has been named President of the Board of Directors for the West Chester Area Education Foundation. The Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization with a mission to supplement creative, meaningful, real-world experiences for students in the West Chester Area School District (WCASD).
“On behalf of the Foundation and my fellow board members, we are very grateful for Stacey’s continued dedication to our WCASD students and families,” said WCASD Superintendent Bob Sokolowski. “Stacey’s guidance, enthusiasm and support for providing students with engaging experiences that build their skills and grow their involvement in the community will not only serve her well in the role of Board President but are a benefit to the entire foundation.”
Fuller was elected Vice President of the West Chester Area Education Foundation last fall after serving as a board member since 2017. On the same day she was promoted to President, she was also honored by the March of Dimes Salute to Women of Achievement – Business Award. She also serves on the Board of the West Chester Area Senior Center.
Named “Lawyer of the Year 2022” by Best Lawyers in America®, Fuller practices in the areas of Education Law, Special Education Law, Municipal Law and Land Use Law. She represents charter and alternative schools and students and their parents in education and special education matters. She also represents municipalities, townships, boroughs, planning commissions, zoning hearing boards and other governmental entities, as well as individual developers and residents, on issues such as zoning and other land development matters.
Fuller is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chester County Bar Foundation. She has previously served on the boards of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry, Chester County Bar Association, West Chester Area YMCA and Greater West Chester Sunrise Rotary Club.
