Gawthrop Greenwood Names P. Kristen Bennett Partner as Services in Delaware Expand
P. Kristen Bennett has been named a partner by Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, a full-service law firm with offices in West Chester, PA and Wilmington, DE.
Bennett is based in the firm’s rapidly expanding office in Greenville, where she focuses her practice on trusts and estates, as well as taxation. Her work encompasses all aspects of wills and trusts, including the probate of wills, the marshaling of assets, and the administration of living and testamentary trusts. In addition, Bennett provides counsel on estate and trust administration, including probate, estate tax returns, income tax returns, post mortem tax planning, and other administration issues. She also represents clients in guardianship proceedings and petitions related to probate or trust administration in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Bennett is a member of the Delaware Bar Association’s Estates and Trusts Section and Tax Section, as well as the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is a member of the Sussex County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She also serves on the Estate Planning Council of Delaware, Inc. and is a board member for Delaware CarePlan, Inc., a non-profit nongovernmental organization that serves as trustee of special and supplemental trusts created for the benefit of Delaware residents.
An alumna of Georgetown University Law Center and University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law, Bennett achieved her undergraduate degree at Furman University.
