Chester County Estate Planning Council Elects Attorney Denise Antonelli as President
Gawthrop Greenwood partner Denise M. Antonelli has been elected president of the Chester County Estate Planning Council, an award-winning organization that brings together professionals from many disciplines to collaborate on estate planning issues affecting their practices and clients.
Antonelli, who has more than 35 years of experience in trusts and estates law, will serve as president for the CCEPC’s 2023-2024 season. The Chester County Estate Planning Council has been recognized as a Council of Excellence by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
As an attorney in the Trusts & Estates Department at Gawthrop Greenwood, PC’s West Chester office, Antonelli assists families and individuals with their estate planning, and handles estate and trust administration. She has been named a “Top Lawyer” by Main Line Today every year since 2014 and by the Daily Local News Readers’ Choice Awards since 2021.
Prior to receiving her law degree from Widener University School of Law, Antonelli was a reporter for Delaware State News and an associate editor for Delaware Today magazine.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism from the University of Delaware.
Antonelli is a member of the board of the Chester County Community Foundation, which brings together donors and beneficiaries of charitable funds to create lasting legacies. She is past president of the board of directors of ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester, a social service agency serving the un- and underemployed in the borough.
