Gawthrop Greenwood partner John E. D. Larkin has been named to the 2019 Pennsylvania “Rising Stars” list.
“Rising Stars” lists from the publishers of Super Lawyers magazine recognize top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have been practicing for 10 years or less, selecting outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state are selected each year to receive this honor.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Larkin has been named to the Pennsylvania “Rising Stars” list. A member of Gawthrop Greenwood’s Litigation Department, he focuses his civil practice on financial and insurance matters. His published works have appeared in law journals at the Georgetown University School of Law, Vanderbilt Law School, the University of Florida Law School, and the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, as well as in the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Bar Quarterly and At Issue publications.
