John “Jack” Larkin has been named a partner by the law firm of Gawthrop Greenwood, PC.
As the leader of the firm’s criminal defense department, Larkin offers clients the benefit of his experience as a former prosecutor. Civilly, he focuses his practice on financial and insurance matters.
Larkin’s published works have appeared in law journals at the Georgetown University School of Law, Vanderbilt Law School, the University of Florida Law School, and the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association Quarterly and Pennsylvania Bar Association At Issue.
Larkin has received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s James J. Mandarino Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. He was also named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, and a “Top Lawyer” by Main Line Today. Larkin is also the chairman of the American Red Cross – Chester County Leadership Board.
Larkin is an alumnus of Oberlin College, where he graduated with honors. While at Villanova Law School, he received the Pennsylvania Environmental Law Forum scholarship and was a Dean’s Merit Scholar.
