For 35 years, Gawthrop Greenwood has awarded a Law Prize to three local students, and this year's winners are expressing their appreciation. Created in 1991, the Gawthrop Greenwood Law Prize ensures the advancement and education of Chester County’s youth by awarding a student from each of the three high schools in the West Chester Area School District.
Happy Holidays from Gawthrop Greenwood
On behalf of everyone at Gawthrop Greenwood: Happy Holidays to you and your family! Each year we choose worthy community organizations to receive a donation from the firm on behalf of our clients. This year we would like to announce that the donation recipients are Chester County Food Bank and Meals on Wheels Delaware.
The firm also got the chance to play Santa at our offices in West Chester and Greenville.
In West Chester this year, paralegal Karen Carter and legal assistant Julie Smith once again led the effort to gather more than $1,200 in toys for local families in need through the Chester County Department of Children, Youth & Families.
In Greenville, funds were collected for the Brandywine Valley SPCA. Next week a couple of the firm’s animal lovers will present the donation in person, so they can enjoy a little puppy love in return. Happy Holidays to all!
