Kari Springer joined Gawthrop Greenwood as an associate attorney shortly after earning her J.D. from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law in 2018.
She focuses her practice in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department, where she served as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate who supported research into the recently changing laws behind attorney-client privilege.
At Villanova, Kari served on the Women’s Law Caucus as well as the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and Pro-Bono Society. She also donated her time as Villanova University’s International Student Tax Preparer.
Kari has served as a legal intern at the Pennsylvania Superior Court in Philadelphia, focusing on criminal and civil matters. At the Delaware Law School Veterans Law Clinic, she supported military veterans in their medical claims to the VA, gathering evidence from initial claim to appeals.
Kari earned her B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Irish Language and Literature from the University of Notre Dame. She attained a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Duke University.
A Division I Track and Cross-Country runner since her undergraduate career at the University of Notre Dame, Kari continues to enjoy competitive running. She resides with her husband, Paul, and their two golden retrievers in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
