Trusts and Estates Attorney Jennifer L. Simons Joins Gawthrop Greenwood, PC
Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, a regional law firm with offices in West Chester and Berwyn, PA as well as Greater Wilmington, DE, welcomes Jennifer L. Simons as an associate attorney practicing in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department.
“Jennifer is a dedicated advocate for the rights and protection of older adults and families with special needs, and her depth of experience practicing in estate planning and administration, as well as special needs trusts, makes her an ideal fit for Gawthrop Greenwood’s 120-year-old law practice in trusts and estates,” said Stacey L. Fuller, chair of the management committee at Gawthrop Greenwood.
A life-long resident of the Philadelphia area, Simons takes great pride – and great heart – in advocating for the well-being of her clients as they work together to make highly individualized decisions in the areas of estate planning, special needs trusts, guardianship and estate administration. She excels in translating legalese into true understanding while preparing wills, powers of attorney and advance medical directives. She also supports clients in adult guardianship matters as well as special needs trusts, and provides representation in Orphans’ Court.
Prior to joining Gawthrop Greenwood, Simons served as an associate attorney at a regional law firm where she also served as a legal assistant while attending Widener University Delaware Law School at night and achieving Dean’s List Honors. Previously, she achieved a successful career in corporate retail for a leading apparel provider.
Simons will serve in Gawthrop Greenwood’s West Chester and Berwyn offices. A member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, she has been named a Super Lawyers® Rising Star and provides seminars on estate planning issues, guardianships and special needs planning. She currently resides in Lansdale, PA.
