Estate planning attorney Ann L. Martino Frazier has joined the law firm Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, practicing in complex estate plans for high net worth individuals.

Working primarily from the firm’s Greater Wilmington office, Frazier draws on more than a decade of experience at one of Delaware’s most prestigious trusts and estates law firms.

“With her extensive background in corporate law and international tax, as well as all aspects of Delaware and Pennsylvania trusts and estate law, Ann offers a comprehensive approach to estate planning that is unique in her field,” says Sandra L. Knapp, Chair of the Gawthrop Greenwood Management Committee. “Ann’s clients also appreciate the personal experience she brings to estate planning, having lost her own spouse while still a young mother. She brings a deep understanding of what her clients are going through.”

In addition to helping clients set up uniquely tailored estate plans, Frazier excels at distribution of trust assets to foreign beneficiaries, preparation of federal estate tax returns as well as all aspects of estate administration.

Previously, Frazier was Lead Counsel for the international business division of Hercules Incorporated in Wilmington, where she negotiated agreements and obtained government approvals to establish joint venture chemical companies throughout Asia Pacific. She also led acquisitions and divestures in countries including Argentina, Denmark, Chile and Italy, where she managed all steps of transactions, from inception through due diligence, agreements and closing.

In addition, Frazier negotiated commercial contracts including long-term supply contracts, joint product development agreements and distribution agreements for the Polypropylene Films division of Hercules. She also designed and implemented a company-wide cost reduction program and accountability system. Her work representing women’s issues, including pay equality, led to her appointment as liaison by the Hercules Women’s Organization.

A member of the Delaware Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association, Frazier is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor at Villanova University School of Law.
