The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network has issued an interim final rule that removes the obligation for U.S. companies and U.S. persons to report beneficial ownership information (BOI). Now, only foreign entities registered to do business in the U.S. must comply, but they are not required to report U.S. persons as beneficial owners.
Suburban Life Readers Choose Gawthrop as “Top Attorneys”
Readers of Suburban Life Magazine have chosen attorneys from Gawthrop Greenwood as “Top Attorneys.” Gawthrop Greenwood partner Stephen J. Olsen was applauded for his work in Estate Planning and Administration, and Sandra L. Knapp was recognized for her work in Real Estate Law.
Suburban Life states: “Most people don’t think about having an attorney in their corner until they find themselves in a situation — on the verge of divorce, in a business dispute, even accused of a crime… We asked our readers who they turn to when in need of everything from adoption to zoning matters, and they responded in kind… No matter the legal matter, the men and women featured stand ready, able and eager to represent.”
